"Unless you want to change the elders bedding then no." the tabby tom replied flatly.
"I think you should take a break. It's only greenleaf, leafbare is when you should be stressing." Froststar laid her tail over her deputy's back and she was relieved to feel him calm.
"Thanks Froststar. Now we still have that bedding that needs changing." He added with a glint of amusement.
"Alright we'll do that together. The apprentices could use a break." She and her deputy set off for the task, both with determined gazes.
"I have a way to make this interesting instead of a plain old task." She whispered to her oldest friend, "Whoever cleans the most bedding wins first pick of the fresh kill."
